Concert
Review: Dec. 14, 2001
On
December 14th, I headed out to see the Revolvers perform along
with NME (no longer their name). NME was an ok show, they
experienced technical difficulties, but it didn't seem to
affect them. Then The Revolvers came on! The crowd went nucking
futs as Hamilton came on with a top hat and a collared shirt,
Austin with a black vest and overalls, and Loyd with his nutty
shirts and big shoes. The crowd had been waiting for them
for a few months, and you could feel the energy between The
Revolvers and the crowd, even before the show had started.
They played "All Mixed Up" by 311, "The Warmth"
by Incubus, "Sober" by Tool, and several of their
originals. Their show inspired a fan who had never been to
a concert of the sort to get up and crowd surf! Check it out:

They played for an hour, which I thought was a little too
short, but hey, what can you do? Well, I've heard they might
play at Music Midtown on the Local Only stage, which would
be incredible, because they'd get even more fans which would
make them one of the standout acts on the bill. Well, after
the concert I got to hang out with some of the members...very
cool guys. I only had to pay $5 to get in, and it was the
best $5 I've ever spent, I can't wait to see them next. So
I reccommend you see them as soon as you can. It was one of
the best nights I've had in a long time, and I can only thank
The Revolvers.
