Revolvers
Concert Announcement:
Hey everybody...big news in the Revolvers camp...we'll be headlininng
a show at the Masquerade (!) on Friday, May 31st with Ch. 99,
NME, and A Pretty Sunset. Doors open at 7PM and tix are $8.
We've been working hard for this big show, so bring all of your
friends...they will NOT be disappointed, unless they get hurt
badly...then they would probably be disappointed. Email me at
HJHobbes@aol.com for advanced tickets (highly recommended).
Also, we might be looking for a fifth band to play the show
with us...so if anyone knows any great local acts, give me an
email. We hope to see you all at the show!
Also,
we've added a bunch of mp3's to our audio section. We've re-vamped
Dirger and Slap and they sound much better...also we have
added FOUR new mp3's of some of the newer material...so give
it a whirl.
This
summer is going to be amazing...the Revolvers are going to
be featured on the Precious Roy Records compilation CD, so
we're excited about that. Also, we will be playing many more
shows...some big, some small...but mostly just a lot...we're
even considering a mini tour. So keep checking the page for
updates, because a lot of huge stuff will be going on over
the next few months. Sleep tight and hail Satan,
-Hamiltonlton
April
20, 2002: Delightful, it's another update. Well I just updated
the calendar, so check that out. There's gonna be a show May
31 at the Somber Reptile, so go to the calendar page to get
directions and what not.
April 20, 2002: Ok, well I finally put up Cynthia Swanson's
review of the concert at Sam Candler's Humble Abode. You can
check it out here. I'm gonna
start uploading the new MP3's pretty soon, including new versions
of Dirger and Slap, as well as 4 new songs that can all be
found on the demo. We'll get a store set up pretty soon. On
a side note, the Revolvers will soon be on the tentatively
titled Precious Roy Records. And yes, it's Hitlers birthday.
March 29, 2002: Damn. I just got back from the show like an
hour ago, and its definitely in my top 5 concerts ever. Dirger
by far was the coolest song live, although The Warmth and
Tokyo Campus were much much appreciated. Within 3 or 4 minutes
after the show, the Revolvers sold about all 25 demos they
had. It was amazingly awesome. Big thanks to Sam Candler for
having the show in his basement. Him and Austin rocked, they're
both incredible, incredible musicians. What wasn't cool was
how people were sitting down for them, but oh well, life goes
on. So yeah, I'm definitely in a good mood. So cool. Anyways,
just wanted to say that, and news will be up soon, and we'll
start selling the demos online before you know it.
Read
the following. Now.
Hey
everybody...just wanted to let everyone know that there's
going to be a Revolvers "Good Friday Service" at
7:30PM on Friday, March 29th at Sam Candler's house (email
us for directions, the address is listed on the calendar page
as well). It's gonna rock harder than Barry White. So come...bring
your friends...but don't expect fireworks...we're just gonna
set up a P.A. in Sam's back yard. But trust me, there will
still be rock in spades -- you may want to wear a protective
helmet. Also playing is Channel 99, which features Austin
(our drummer) as well as Sam Candler and Justin Prendergast.
They rock harder than Harvey Danger. So come on out! And keep
checking this page...Rohan is gonna be updating it more often
because we're gonna start playing many more shows in the future,
and we're soon gonna have tons of new music up. Later,
-Hamilton
UPDATE!
SMILE.
March 26, 2002: Jesus. It's been a long time since I updated
this site. And as you would expect, the Revolvers have done
a lot of work. Well kids, there's gonna be a concert on Friday
at Sam Candler's house, so make sure you're there. Be there.
The Revolvers have also recorded 4 new songs, and re-recorded
2 others, so all but 1 has changed (Tokyo Campus is the only
one that's still the same). We'll get the MP3's up soon enough,
don't you worry my little children, and soon you'll be able
to order CD's off the site, probably for a tiny amount, which
means around $1. Also, you can find them at shows, so make
sure you come and get one.
The
Revolvers are planning a HUGE ass show for late May/early
June, so keep your eyes open for that. They'll also probably
be playing some shows in Miami and St. Simons in the summer,
so if you're there, be sure to come and watch.
February
21, 2002: Greetings. We now have a wallpaper of the Revolvers
for you to download, so if you're interested, keep reading.
If not, kill yourself (kidding). Ok, well depending on your
resolution, choose which one is best for you. Once you have
clicked on it and the picture has loaded, right click on the
picture and click "Set as Wallpaper." And to make
it super delightful, once you're on your desktop, right-click
and click on Properties. You will be led to the background
customization screen. At the bottom right, you will see a
drop down menu which reads "Display": choose "Stretch"
for maximum pleasure. If you're confused, email me at rkohli@xrs.net
or talk to me on AIM. My s/n is "sevendustdredg".
Enjoy.

February 14, 2002: Well, the Revolvers were finally accepted
by mp3.com, so that kicks ass. Click on "audio"
on the left to go to the site. There you can either stream
or download "Dirger." Fear not, though, for the
other two tracks off of the Tokyo Campus EP will be on there
within a week. To go there immediately, go to http://www.mp3.com/revolvers
- enjoy!
February 11, 2002:
Today a tab was uploaded for Tokyo Campus, the Revolvers'
title track from their EP. If you have any tabs to submit,
please send it in! The Revolvers have turned in their application
to Midtown, so wish them luck!
February 5, 2002:
The Revolvers have completed the recording of their Tokyo
Campus EP, which features the songs: Tokyo Campus, Dirger,
and Slap. As soon as mp3.com starts functioning like it's
supposed to, we will post the links to the mp3's so that you
can download them and enjoy. Also, if you see any of The Revolvers
at school, you can ask them to get you a copy of the demo.
Remember, find them to sign the petition--they need as many
people to sign it before Thursday. Thanks.
February 1, 2002:
We have the photos up and running on the site, so check them
out. They're from the performance on Dec. 14th. Also, the
Revolvers will be recording tomorrow, so look out for some
new tracks.
January 31, 2002:
Pictures of the Revolver's performance on December 14, 2001
have been scanned in and will be posted on the site shortly.
Tomorrow, hopefully I can edit the "Dirger" MP3
so that I can post it on MP3.com. However, once I post it,
they will take a week or so to accept it, so please be patient.
I know you're anxious, but if you REALLY want it, just email
me and I can email it to you.
Today a petition has been formed for you to help them get
a spot at Music Midtown, so if you go to Westminster, look
out for Hamilton, Austin, or Jay to find a copy of it and
help them out. Even if you don't like them, just sign it.
But no one doesn't like them except Droptube which can lick
my anal blood.
January 30, 2002:
The Revolvers have a website up and running now. Guess what?
You're on it. The site should be done within 3 or 4 days,
so watch out.
January 27, 2002:
The Revolvers have finally recorded "Dirger" and
the MP3 will be available on the site shortly. They will be
retracking it soon though, so look out for a new version.
